BIM Modelling & Documentation
Flow Consulting provides detailed BIM modelling and documentation for hydraulic building services, supporting projects from initial design through to construction and handover. Combining Revit expertise with practical building services knowledge, we deliver accurate, coordinated and buildable information that supports efficient project delivery.
Our BIM Modelling & Documentation Services Include:
Hydraulic Revit modelling
Project-specific Revit families and BIM content
Construction and site-use 3D models
Building Consent and construction documentation
Shop drawing review
As-built modelling and documentation
Detailed Hydraulic BIM Modelling
Models are produced with a focus on accuracy, buildability and the practical requirements of installation.
Hydraulic services, fixtures, equipment, service routes and penetrations can be represented within the model, allowing the design to be reviewed in the context of the wider building before work begins on site.
Project-specific Revit families and BIM content can also be developed where required to accurately represent equipment and installation requirements.
Construction-Focused BIM
Flow’s BIM approach is focused on buildability rather than modelling for modelling’s sake. Models and documentation are developed with the people constructing and installing the work in mind.
During construction, Flow can support project teams through coordinated 3D models, construction documentation, RFIs, design changes, consent amendments and shop drawing reviews.
Models can also be prepared for site use to help contractors understand service locations, interfaces and installation requirements within the wider building.
As-Built & Project Handover Information
As projects move through construction, design information can be updated to reflect approved changes and completed work. Flow produces as-built drawings and model information to provide a clearer record of the completed hydraulic installation.
Maintaining accurate project information through design, construction and handover supports future maintenance, alterations and ongoing asset management.
